Since April, parking has been free in council-owned car parks.

As more people are now travelling for work, exercise and leisure activities, parking charges are being reintroduced from Monday 17 August to ensure a turnover of spaces for those who need them - especially those wishing to visit our town centres.

Please buy a ticket and display in clearly in your windscreen from this date.

The parking pilot remains in place in Paisley and drivers will continue to receive their first three hours of parking for free in six of our council-run car parks. You must still obtain a ticket. A reminder of the pilot can be found here - Paisley parking pilot.
