Wellbeing Conversations

This online course is designed to help managers understand when and how to have a wellbeing conversation with team members.

Course Outline

This e-learning course identifies some appropriate times when a wellbeing conversation may be required to support team members, and how to tackle sensitive wellbeing conversations. 

Course Outline

By completing this course you will:

  • Understand how and when to have wellbeing conversations with team members
  • Know how to spot early warning signs that a team member may be struggling
  • Learn how to structure the conversation and asking the right questions
  • Learn the various types of wellbeing concerns that team members may present with, including mental health conditions, cancer, bereavement, caring responsibilities, and financial worries
  • Know how to respond appropriately and signposting to sources of support.
