Course Outline
This e-learning course explains what coaching is, the key skills of a coach and provides a model to use when having coaching conversations with team members about work task and goals, quality of work, delegation, learning and development conversations, goals and action plans, and much more.

By completing this course, you will:
- Understand the process of coaching and how it can be used.
- Understand the benefits of coaching for the individual, manager and wider organisation.
- Understand the skills required of a coach and how to structure a coaching conversation.

Online Workshop
A 2-hour Coaching Conversations online workshop is available to attend.
Next Available Date
The workshops will take place on MS teams on:
- Tuesday 29 October 2024 10.00am-12.00pm, booking is essential.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide you with the opportunity to practice having a coaching conversation using the GROW model, and to receive feedback on this. Due to its practical nature, it would help the person coaching if the coachee had a real issue to discuss and you will be required to identify two challenges, issues or goals that you could use as a subject for a coaching conversation at the workshop.
You must complete the Coaching Conversations e-learning module before you submit a nomination form. You will not be added to the waiting list or invited to attend a workshop until you have completed this e-learning module.
Once you have completed the e-learning course, if you would like to register your interest in attending a workshop, please complete the Course Nomination Form and you will be added to our waiting list.
