What the survey is
This survey is for parents and carers of pupils who attend either a school in Johnstone, or Trinity High school in Renfrew. These are schools which have been identified as priorities for future investment and we want to capture your views on how we can deliver that. The survey covers:
- what you like about your child’s school, and what could be improved
- what we should consider when planning future investment in those schools
We want all our pupils in high-quality buildings with great facilities which meet the needs of their communities and we are developing options for how we might achieve that. Your answers will be used to help us do that.
As part of this we will consider whether other nearby schools could also form part of those options.
Please note this survey focuses on the buildings, facilities and site of your child’s school, not the learning and teaching aspects.
Why we’re doing this survey
The current survey aims to capture some initial views from parents and carers. We will also be doing the same with teaching staff in Johnstone schools and Trinity High. As we develop our options for those schools, we will engage further with parents/carers, pupils and staff.
How you can tell us what you think
The survey will open on Wednesday 17 September and be available until Monday 29 September 2025.
