We're working on proposals for Erskine town centre

As part of the Centre Strategy for Erskine, we're working on proposals to reimagine underused land and improve public spaces in Erskine's town centre and riverfront.

The proposals aim to:

• enhance the town centre environment
• improve connectivity and accessibility
• promote better use of green spaces.

The development of a new civic plaza within the town centre is identified as the first project we feel we can progress and initial designs have been created.

We held an in-person event on Thursday 24 April 2025 at Erskine Sports Centre from 2pm to 7pm to allow people to give their feedback - with the exhibition boards remaining at the sports centre until Monday 12 May 2025.

An online survey showing the proposals was also available and closed on Monday 12 May 2025.

We will use the feedback received to inform more detailed designs as we look to progress delivery of the project for the local community and will promote the next stage of the project when appropriate.
