The Strategic Housing Investment Plan includes proposals for new build affordable housing that will be built by either the council or one of its housing association partners with developments expected to include a range of property type and sizes to meet a range of housing needs across Renfrewshire.

What happens next
All representations will be reviewed before finalising the Strategic Housing Investment Plan which will be submitted for approval to the Council’s Communities and Housing Policy Board on 27 October 2026.
