Johnstone Community Council interim election
An interim election is being held for Johnstone Community Council to help increase the number of full members above the minimum number required for the Community Council to operate.
The closing date for nominations to Johnstone Community Council is Wednesday 31 July 2024.
You can request a nomination form by emailing community-council.cs@renfrewshire.gov.uk.
Meetings
Johnstone Community Council meetings take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Dimity Street Church Hall, Johnstone.
Please check the Johnstone Community Council website for any changes to meeting dates.
Some community councils have a summer recess and may not hold meetings during July and August.
Financial support from Renfrewshire Council
We provide an annual administrative allowance to community councils to help with basic running costs.
This is fixed at £600 a year with an additional 3p per head of population:

- Rate of 3p per person: £483
