Grant to repair a private historic building
What the grant to repair a private historic building is, who can apply for it, what you can and can't use it for, how much you could get, how to apply, how we assess your application and how we pay the grant.
You can apply for a grant to repair a privately owned historic property in one of eleven Renfrewshire villages.
The scheme encourages the use of materials, repair methods and techniques that fit with the age and construction of the property.
You can use the grant for structural and external repairs, reinstatement of external architectural details or professional fees.
The closing date for this grant was Monday 29 April 2024.
This grant works in conjunction with the maintenance planning grant for private historic buildings.
Before you look at repairs to your building, you should consider applying for the maintenance planning grant first.
