Parents and carers interested in becoming a childminder can find out more at an online event. Childminding can fit around family life while you run your own business.
At a Discover Childminding session, you can find out:
- what the role involves
- the support available to help you get started, including a business start-up grant of £750 or more.
The events are hosted by Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA). They support people to become childminders.
SCMA staff will be available throughout each session to answer questions.
The online sessions will take place on Microsoft Teams on:
- Tuesday 18 August, 10am to 11am
- Wednesday 19 August, 7pm to 8pm
- Saturday 22 August, 10am to 11am.
Places must be booked in advance to receive the joining link.
