We spend about £200million each year on goods and services and across Scotland, the public sector spends £13billion.

Our events help Renfrewshire companies to hear about our plans and contract opportunities as we look to increase our spend with local suppliers.

Meet the Buyer events

Meet the Buyer are events hosted by our Economic Development team for Renfrewshire businesses.

Our latest Meet the Buyer event was at Tweedie Hall in Linwood on October 2023 featuring senior buyers from the Council, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and University of the West of Scotland.

In April 2023 we hosted First Steps to Bidding for Council Contracts.
