First steps to bidding for contracts with Renfrewshire Council
Every year, Renfrewshire Council spends about £200m on goods and services. In Scotland, public sector organisations like us spend up to £13bn each year.
We want to help you do business with Renfrewshire Council and bid for contracts.
We regularly hold events when you can meet our procurement and economic development teams. You can also hear from successful suppliers - at our latest session, Robertson Acom (Paisley-based company) shared their experience of tendering for public sector contracts and the support available to them from the business team. Morrison Construction were also there and spoke about sub-contracting opportunities coming up on the new Paisley Grammar School Community Campus development as well as the importance of community benefits and social impact.

The most important advice we can give you at this stage is to register with Public Contracts Scotland. This is first step that you must take in bidding for contracts with Renfrewshire Council or any other public sector organisation. It is free to register and you can search for or receive alerts about opportunities to supply goods, works and services and contracts you can bid for.
You can also register for our free business and economy e-newsletter and other e-alerts.
