What can and can't go in your green, blue and grey rubbish sacks.

- green sack - plastics, cans and cartons (no glass)
- blue sack - paper, card and cardboard
- grey sack - non-recyclable waste
- food caddy bin - food waste only
Make sure there is no food residue or contamination in the items you want to put in your blue or green bins.
Your green sack
These items can go in your green sack:
✔ Plastic bottles
✔ Plastic pots, tubs and trays
✔ Fruit and vegetable punnets
✔ Clean takeaway containers
✔ Cleaning product bottles
✔ Drinks cans (empty and rinsed)
✔ Food/pet food tins (empty and rinsed)
✔ Biscuit/sweet tins
✔ Aerosols
✔ Cartons
✔ Milk cartons
Do not put these items in your green sack:
✘ Glass (this should be taken directly to your nearest recycling point)
✘ Paper, card and cardboard
✘ Food residue
✘ Carrier bags
✘ Sweet and crisp wrappers
✘ Plastic wrapping and bubble wrap
✘ Polystyrene Food and drink pouches
✘ Hard plastics (toys, coat hangers, CD case etc)
✘ Food and drink pouches
✘ Light bulbs
✘ Pyrex or crockery
✘ Mirrors
✘ Tinfoil
Don't put glass can't be collected in your green sack but take it to your nearest recycling point instead.
