Live entertainment, food and drink traders, and lots of family fun.

This year’s gala day is sponsored by TrustFord Glasgow.

This is Scotland's Summer of Sport and this year's gala day lots of sports-based fun for all.

Parade

Watch the parade (12pm-12.20pm) featuring stiltwalkers, Summer Birds and these local community groups:

Children and families

  • Free face-painting, balloon-modelling and inflatables (12pm-5pm)
  • Sports Day activities - book your place now
  • BMX Workshops with the Scottish BMX School (12pm-5pm)
  • Come and Try Tennis sessions with Renfrew Development Trust (12.30pm-3.30pm)
  • Demonstrations from 'Keepy Uppy Football' record holder Graeme Lightbody (2pm-4pm)
  • Football with Street Stuff
  • Get up close to our giant, fantastical ‘Summer Birds’, with their stunning fanned tails, and each measuring 3.4m tall! (30min performances at 2pm and 3.45pm)
  • ‘Game, Set, Juggle’ sports-themed circus cabaret (30min performances at 1pm and 4.15pm)
  • Free Circus Skills drop-in workshop (2.30-3.30pm)
  • Spot our mesmerising juggler (2-3pm) and colourful Butterfly and Dragonfly stilt-walkers roaming the park (1.15-2.30pm and 2.30-3.45pm)
