Paisley Food and Drink Festival will be back on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 April bringing a host of delicious treats and entertainment to the town centre.
The free to attend two-day event will take place in Abbey Close and Bridge Street in Paisley town centre, offering a range of fantastic street food options and free entertainment for visitors to enjoy.
This year’s festival has been supported by funding from EventScotland which has allowed the event programme to be expanded to include a Big Feed Foodie & Makers Market which will feature a range of artisan products.
Renfrewshire CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) will also be back with their Beer Tent located on Bridge Street for visitors to sample some of the finest ales and craft beers sourced from across Scotland.
There's more to enjoy than ever before with more than 60 traders offering their wares with options to suit a range of dietary requirements to make sure everyone can enjoy all the fun of the festival.
Visitors can expect to see local traders like Cone of Pakora, Hanstiens and The Big Slice alongside festival favourites like Dirty Bird Fried Chicken, Fries Guys, Pizza Geeks and Fat Flamingo.
Both Two Towns Down and The Keg will have bar tents located on opposite ends of Abbey Close with the latter offering a brilliant range of bands playing live music for people to enjoy with a drink and a bite.
The ever-popular Fizzbuzz prosecco van, Margarita Truck and Caribbean bar, Rum Shack will be offering a range of tipples for the grown-up crowd.

We’re really looking forward to being part of the Paisley Food and Drink Festival again this year. We came along last year and loved it - it’s a great event with a fun atmosphere and such a good mix of traders.
It was an easy decision to come back as it’s always well supported and a great chance for us to get in front of a wider crowd. We’ll be serving our fresh pasta menu - our three most popular dishes: Italian Sausage Ragù, Mushroom & Sage Butter and Pomodoro - all made fresh and served up on the day. See you all there!
Owner of The Crumbleologist, Alan McCurdy, said:
We’re absolutely buzzing to be joining Paisley Food and Drink Festival for the very first time – it’s one we’ve had our eye on for a while. The mix of incredible food, local talent, and a proper buzzing atmosphere makes it exactly the kind of event we want to be part of.
If you’re coming along, expect the full Crumbleologist experience – warm, buttery crumble loaded with our signature fruit fillings and finished with hot custard that’ll warm your bones (because… Scotland). Everything we serve is completely gluten-free and mostly plant-based, so absolutely everyone can get stuck in. Paisley… we’re ready for you.
Gin tasting sessions by local business GINstitute will give visitors the chance to sample the spirit from artisan makers and learn more about their favourite drink.
The Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMA) Paisley Takeover will also take place this weekend with a number of acts performing for visitors on the Friday. The SAMA Paisley Takeover will extend into Saturday with several acts scheduled to play at The Bungalow and Paisley Arts Centre.
This year’s festival will see an expanded family programme with inflatable play areas and free face painting also being available on the Friday. On Saturday there will be even more free kids’ activities on offer, many with a sports theme in anticipation of Scotland’s Summer of Sport with keepie-uppie king, Graeme Lightbody showing off his skills to the crowds, sport inspired food workshops and sports themed cabaret circus shows.
Paisley Food and Drink Festival will take place from 4pm-10pm on Friday 24 April and from 12pm – 9pm on Saturday 25 April.
