If you have a preschool child, you can find out more about Gaelic education. Gaelic Medium Education is where children speak, read and write only in Scottish Gaelic. Children living in Renfrewshire can attend the Gaelic class at West Primary School from primary 1 (P1).
The information event takes place on:
- Tuesday 6th October
- 4 30pm
- West Primary School, Paisley.
There’s no need to register, simply turn up to the event.
At the event, you will be able to:
- get an overview of how children learn and what to expect from West Primary Head Teacher and staff
- hear about the benefits of learning through Gaelic from a Bòrd na Gàidhlig representative
- get a parent prospective from a Comann nam Pàrant representative
- get information about preschool provision from a Comunn na Gàidheal representative
You can register your child Gaelic Medium Education during P1 registration. Older children cannot start Gaelic Medium Education from an older year group.
