Overview
Renfrewshire Effort to Empower Minorities' Summer Project will support children and families by involving them in different activities.
They'll also encourage families within ethnic minority communities to enjoy the health benefits of participation in sport.
Activities will take place in Wellmeadow Street and Brodie Park, Paisley, and will include:
- a weekend play time in the park
- swimming
- football
- arts and crafts
- drawing and painting sessions
- dancing and African drumming workshop
- day trips.
These will provide opportunities for people from various backgrounds to connect through building friendships and learning new skills.
The sessions will run 4 days per week from 1 July to 18 August 2026 on:
- Tuesdays - 10am
- Thursdays - 10am
- Saturdays - midday
- Sundays - midday.
