Blue, green and brown bins are for recycling. Find out what goes in each bin.
Each household is allowed up to 2 of each recycling bin. You can order new bins if you need them.
If you're moving into a new-build home
If you're moving into a new-build home, the home will not automatically have bins when you move in. You'll need to order them.
If your bin was damaged or stolen
How much it costs
The price for a bin depends on its size.
- 140 litre bin (small): £47.50
- 240 litre bin (standard): £59.10
- 360 litre bin (large): £118.15
- 1,100 litre bin (communal): £428.35
Brown bins are available only in small and standard sizes.
