Renfrewshire Licensing Board - Progress on Mainstreaming Equality and Equality Outcomes

Renfrewshire Licensing Board as a public authority is required to publish progress made in mainstreaming the equality duty and a set of equality outcomes in order to meet the requirements of the equality duty.

The Board is required to publish a new set of equality outcomes by 30 April 2021. The information illustrates a range of activities and actions that have been undertaken by the Licensing Board to mainstream equalities.  The progress report on mainstreaming the equality duty and the equality outcomes can be found in the related content area on the righthand side of this page.

The Board is committed to ensuring that fair practices are adhered to throughout the licensing process and no applicant is treated less favourably on any grounds.  The diversity and equality monitoring questionnaire provides valuable information and helps us to ensure that no one is unintentionally discriminated against, promote equality of opportunity and develop good relations across the diverse communities of Renfrewshire.  All responses are treated in the strictest confidence and will be used simply to provide a statistical profile of licenceholders.  The Equality Monitoring Form is available to download in the related content area on the righthand side of this page.
