Where you can see the expenses declarations of the local election candidates, how to make an appointment to view them.

Publication and inspection

The returns and declarations of election expenses for candidates and their election agents in the Local government elections 2022 have been published and can now be inspected by the public.  

The expenses and accompanying documents are available to view in Renfrewshire House during office hours only. They are not available by email or post.

If you want to inspect the expenses, you'll need to make an appointment to come to Renfrewshire House.

I, Alan Russell, Returning Officer for the Scottish Local Government Elections in the Renfrewshire Council area hereby give notice that the returns and declarations as to election expenses (including the accompanying documents) of the candidates and election agents, which require to be made in terms of The Representation of the People Act 1983 as amended by The Scottish Local Government Elections Amendment Order 2021, are available for inspection within the next two years at the Election Office, Renfrewshire Council, Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley PA1 1TR, during normal office hours.
