Grass cutting and grounds maintenance

To keep our towns and villages looking fresh and tidy, we carry out all the required maintenance for an area at the same time.

While they are in your area they cut all open spaces, school playing fields, public parks, sports pitches and cemeteries - as well as providing the grass and hedge cutting assistance scheme for residents and council house tenants.

They return for any parts of the area they don't manage to complete on the specified day.

Hedge cutting is provided twice a year and operates in line with the new grass cutting model, with communities seeing their first cut between mid-May and mid-July and their second cut between mid-August and the end of September.

Our teams work on a 14-day cycle between April and October and tackle a different area of Renfrewshire each day - you can see below when they will be in your local community.

If you're not sure which area you fall under, put your post code into our interactive map below to find out.
