Boundary Commission for Scotland report
The Boundary Commission for Scotland has submitted its report on the 2018 Review of UK Parliament Constituencies to the Secretary of State for Scotland.
It follows the UK parliament legislation change to reduce the total number of constituencies in Scotland from 59 to 53.
The Boundary Commission for Scotland report will now be considered by the UK Government.
If accepted and approved by the UK Parliament then Renfrewshire residents would vote in one of three constituencies: Paisley; Renfrewshire West and Garnock Valley; and Clyde Coast.
The new constituencies would each consist of around 75,000 voters.
