Children and families of Moorpark Early Learning and Childcare Centre had a great time celebrating a love of books with a special Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Renfrewshire event.

Everyone at the nursery aged between 2 and 5 receives a monthly book from the programme. The nursery staff team say the children have so much fun reading them and decided to hold an event with families to celebrate.

Yvonne Berry, acting depute for the nursery centre and senior early learning and childcare officer, said: "It was a joy to see so many smiling faces enjoying the stories and celebrating a love of reading together. A special thank you for our engaging storytelling session, and warm and memorable moment at the firepit, where children enjoyed roasting marshmallows.

"It was a wonderful day that celebrated the joy of reading and brought our nursery community together. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event so special. We look forward to many more magical moments like this in the future."
