Join our new Employee Engagement Forums

Are you interested in sharing ideas and influencing key decisions in our organisation?

Would you like to improve how we work together and build relationships to enhance our employee voice?

Our People & Organisational Development team are looking for representatives to join our new Employee Engagement Forums to help shape our ways of working and improve two-way communications across the council.

As a representative, you will be a single point of contact for your department; connecting with colleagues within your service area to bring forward topics for discussion at quarterly meetings, collectively proposing practical solutions, and feeding back on Forum priorities.

Applications are open to council colleagues in all roles and departments, so if you are a confident communicator with the enthusiasm and commitment to actively make a difference, the team would love to hear from you.

The Engagement Forums will be supported by a nominated group of managers within each service who will share chairperson responsibilities in the early stages before handing over to the Forum members to elect their own chair. Meetings are expected to last no longer than two hours and your service senior leadership team will agree your allocated time away from operational activities to fulfil your employee engagement forum duties.
