Business World is Renfrewshire Council's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application that has transformed the way we work.

The ERP application enables more efficient and consistent ways of working as we strive to design and deliver sustainable quality services and outcomes for the people of Renfrewshire.

On a practical level this means offering self-service for:

• planned leave
• expenses and overtime
• viewing personal information
• submission of HR forms.

Workflow (routing) of transactions and requests is automated based on our position hierarchy and financial modeller.

The ERP application provides access to view, update and report on information in real time which helps our ability to plan and forecast using more meaningful and relevant information online compared with previous printed hard copy.
