Dargavel school consultation – still time to have your say

Dear community member

The formal consultation over the proposed new primary school in Dargavel will close on Tuesday 26 March – that means you only have a few days left to take part.

We’d like to thank everyone who’s taken the time so far to fill out our online survey, or who came to any of the events we ran over the past few weeks.

We are keen to capture the views of as many people as possible, so if you haven’t yet filled out the survey, we’d ask you please do so before Tuesday.

To remind you, the consultation covers two issues – whether to build a new primary school within Dargavel on the proposed site, and changes to the catchment areas for the existing and new primary schools.

You can read more about the background to the proposal, including maps showing the proposed location of the new school, and the catchment boundary below.

We will continue to keep parents, carers and community members updated on progress with school and other facilities in Dargavel.
