What the consultation is
Have your say in the equality outcomes, which help make Renfrewshire fairer by progressing equality, tackling discrimination and harassment and promoting good relations between different groups.
The purpose of this consultation is for those who live, work, and study in Renfrewshire to help shape Renfrewshire’s equality outcomes. This will guarantee that the equality outcomes make the biggest difference in tackling inequality within Renfrewshire Council’s sphere of influence.
Why we’re consulting
Renfrewshire Council published our draft Equality Outcomes in April 2025. Under the draft equality outcomes sits a draft action plan. The action plan includes information on how we intend to work towards each equality outcome.
This survey asks you your opinion on the equality outcomes and draft actions. This will help us identify what actions would make the biggest difference in tackling inequality.

- Better Outcomes: By listening to a wide range of voices, we can design equality outcomes that are more effective and fairer for everyone.
- Be Transparent and Accountable: We want to show how we consider equality considerations in our decision making.
