Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)

Dear parent or carer

I would like to update you following media coverage of the type of concrete used in some schools.

We have already carried out a review of all our schools and early learning and childcare centres to determine whether any of Renfrewshire's educational establishments contained reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) as part of their construction.

No school or ELCC have been found to contain RAAC.

This information has been provided to Scottish Government.

I hope this update is helpful.
