Instead of throwing your quilt away, wash it or have it dry cleaned. It will be as good as new.

If your quilt is in good condition ask family, friends, work colleagues or neighbours if they have a use for it.

Pass on items for free at places such as Freecycle and Freegle.

Please consider donating your unwanted good quality bedding, duvets, sheets and blankets to local charities.

Duvets, blankets and sheets that are not good enough to be used again can be donated to animal charities such as the Dogs Trust for use as bedding for rescue animals. More Information is available on their website at dogstrust.org.uk.
