DIY equipment
- Ask family, friends, work colleagues or neighbours if they have a use for your ladder, saw or pasting table.
- Pass on items for free at places such as Freecycle and Freegle.
- Consider donating your unwanted DIY equipment to your local charity shop.
- Try selling it in the local newspaper or at car boot sales or use websites such as eBay and Gumtree to sell your unwanted items.
Why not call our partners at local charity collection Project Oskar? They will come and collect your items so that they can be re-used within the Renfrewshire community. Call them on 0141 847 6626 or visit the Oskar's website for a full list of what they collect. All items donated are cleaned or refurbished before displaying them for sale at 55 Clark Street, Paisley, PA3 1QS.
Equipment that cannot be re-used by someone else can often be recycled, especially items made from wood and metal. Visit your local recycling centre.
