Bedding and blankets

You can recycle these items at our household waste recycling centres at one of our textile banks.

We all have clothes in our wardrobes or curtains, pillow cases, duvet covers, blankets, sheets and towels in our cupboards that we don't need or want any more. Sometimes we have items that are past their best too...so what can we do with them?

If the item is still in good condition why not:

  • ask family or friends if they would like the item(s)
  • sell locally at car boot, nearly new and bring and buy sales
  • put an ad in your local newspaper or shop window
  • pass on items for free at places such as freecycle and freegle
  • or sell them on websites like eBay, Gumtree and Preloved
  • charity shop
  • Why not use old towels that are beyond use for cleaning cloths?
  • contact our partner re-use organisation Project Oskar
  • or alternatively call the National Re-use phoneline on 0800 0665 820

You can also recycle these items at our household waste recycling centres at one of our textile banks.
