Bathroom suites are considered DIY waste and are therefore not accepted at our household waste recycling centres. You should hire a skip or use a private waste contractor to dispose of this type of waste. More information can be found in our DIY Waste section.

If the bathroom suite/furniture is in good condition and could be used by someone else why not consider the following:

• ask family or friends if they would like the item(s)
• sell locally at car boot, nearly new and bring and buy sales
• put an ad in your local newspaper or shop window
• pass on items for free at places such as freecycle and freegle
• or sell them on websites like eBay, Gumtree and Preloved
• charity shop
