Complete the Staff Travel Survey

Your feedback will help inform what actions we can take to support sustainable travel and in our work towards net zero.

As a thank you for taking part, we're giving away a £100 Renfrewshire Gift Card.

To enter the prize draw*, simply share your views on sustainable travel by Friday 7 March 2025.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and all answers are completely anonymous.   

Travelknowhow Scotland - who are funded by Transport Scotland - are conducting the survey on our behalf.

Privacy statement - Travelknowhow Scotland 

This survey is designed to gather anonymous data from Renfrewshire Council colleagues and does not include any questions to identify individuals. The survey is voluntary and the data you provide will not be used for any other purposes beyond the needs of the Staff Travel Survey. The data provided will be collated and processed by Travelknowhow Scotland who are funded by Transport Scotland. The data will be processed securely within the UK in line with all the relevant General Data Protection Regulations. The data is stored on the Smart Survey platform: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk. Our standard process is that the raw data file will be deleted 12 months after the project is completed. Any responses submitted via paper copies will be entered by Travelknowhow Scotland. Once aggregated and analysed, a key findings report will be shared with Renfrewshire Council with a view to informing wider policy decisions. 

When entering the prize draw, Travelknowhow Scotland will separate your contact details from your survey responses to ensure anonymity of data. 
 

*Staff Travel Survey Prize Draw Terms and Conditions   

  1.By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions").   

  2. Any entry and participation instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. Any entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will not be valid.   

  3. Only employees of The Renfrewshire Council  ("Employee") are eligible to enter the Staff Travel Survey Prize Draw conducted via the Travelknowhow Scotland and Smart Survey website https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/renfrewshirecouncil/  

Purpose

  4. The purpose of the Staff Travel Survey Prize Draw is to encourage Employees to share their views about their commute, travel during work, transport choices and active travel.   

  5. Personal contact details (personal data) provided within the Prize Draw entry will be used for the purpose of validating entries and notifying the Prize Winner.  By entering the Prize Draw, you consent to the collection and processing of personal data for this purpose. 

How to enter

  6. To enter, you must complete the Staff Travel Survey online https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/renfrewshirecouncil/  or by submitting a paper copy, no later than 16:00hrs on Friday 7 March 2025. At the end of the survey, you will be asked to provide contact details to enter the Prize Draw. This data will be separated from responses by Travelknowhow Scotland to ensure confidentiality of the Staff Travel Survey. 

  7. The Renfrewshire Council, TravelKnowHow Scotland or the Smart Survey website will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate. 

  8. Entry to the Prize Draw is FREE - no purchase required and no cost. 

  9. One entry per Employee only. 

10. The Closing Date for entry to the Prize Draw is Friday 7 March 2025 at 16:00hrs. 

11. The Renfrewshire Council reserves the right to cancel the Prize Draw or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.   

Prize

12. The prize awarded to the prize winner ("Prize Winner") shall be a £100 Renfrewshire Gift Card (the "Prize"). 

13. This Prize is not transferable and there is no alternative prize option.

14. The Prize is subject to availability and The Renfrewshire Council reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value. The Prize is non-transferable and non-negotiable, and no cash alternative will be available.

15. The draw of the Prize Winner will be conducted by TravelKnowHow Scotland. The winning entry will be selected randomly from all the entries received before the Closing Date (the "Prize Draw"). Should TravelKnowHow Scotland be unable to contact a winner, an alternative winner will be drawn. 

16. The decisions of TravelKnowHow Scotland and The Renfrewshire Council regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw shall be final and binding.

Notification of Winner 

17. The Prize Draw will take place on Monday 17 March 2025 by TravelKnowHow Scotland, and a Prize Winner will be selected at random. 

18. The Prize Winner will be notified and contacted directly by email with details of how to claim and collect their Prize.

19. Photo opportunities and use of such photos will be subject to the Prize Winner's explicit consent.
