Renfrewshire Council

Become a community councillor in Renfrewshire

Nominations for local community councils are now open

Every colleague is already making a difference to Renfrewshire's communities. Did you know, if you are a Renfrewshire resident, you can get even more involved by signing up to become a community councillor?

Community councils play an important role in local democracy. They are run by local people who care about their community and want to make it a better place to live. Usually meeting monthly, they find out residents' views and share them with organisations that deliver services in the area—such as the council, NHS, Police Scotland, and local businesses.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, then we would love to hear from you, please complete and return your nomination form before Friday 15 September 2023.
