Jackie Green Former Renfrewshire councillor Jackie Green passed away on Thursday 11 May. Mr Green was first elected to the St James ward in Paisley in 1988 and retired from local government in 2012.

Provost Lorraine Cameron said: "Jackie was a dear colleague to many of us who served alongside him, and will be bitterly missed by family, friends, neighbours, and many of the community. Like me, I'm sure many of you have fond memories of Jackie and will join me in sending my condolences to his family and friends."

The funeral will take place on Friday 26 May at 10am in St Charles Chapel, Paisley, then on to Hawkhead Cemetery, before returning to St Charles Chapel Hall, Paisley.
