Well done to our schools and nurseries

It's been a bumper season of awards and nominations

As another school year comes to an end, there has been a plethora of national awards and nominations this final term recognising the amazing work of schools and nurseries across Renfrewshire, including:

Glenburn ELCC won the Making a Difference category at the Scottish Education Awards.

Spateston ELCC were also finalists at the Scottish Education Awards in the Parent and Family Engagement category.

Williamsburgh Primary were finalists in the Best Use of Technology category at the TES School Awards and the Into Film Education Awards for a short anti-bullying film made by pupils.

St Paul's Primary and Glenburn ELCC were also finalists in the Place2be Wellbeing in Schools Awards, with St Paul's up for the Primary School Award for Mental Health Excellence and Glenburn up for the Mina Dell Mentally Healthy School Award.

St Anthony's Primary also achieved a gold level in the Scottish Book's Reading Schools programme.

And, West Johnstone ELCC has achieved their fourth Eco Schools Scotland Green Flag award.

As the summer holidays get into full swing, we want to congratulate all our schools and nurseries for another fantastic year.
