Garden assistance scheme
Community Resources provides help with gardening to people who are medically unfit.
The service is available from April to October and includes:
- cutting and edging grass and taking away the clippings eight times a year, and
- cutting hedges twice per year, mid season and end of season.
This service is free to council tenants and available to home owners for a fee.
The cost to home owners is £204.95 inclusive of VAT (1 April 2013 - 31 March 2014 ).
