Rubbish and recycling
Erskine sack collection
If you are an Erskine resident on a sack collection service, you can collect your annual supply of blue and black sacks in the car park areas of:
Bargarran Shopping Centre
Friday 26 - Sunday 28 September
10am - 2pm
Friday 3 October - Sunday 5 October
10am - 2pm
Park Glade shops
Friday 10 October - Sunday 12 October
10am - 2pm
If you can’t collect from your nearest location on the date and time above, you can use one of the other two.
We need you to show a rent card or utility bill (gas, electricity, Council Tax) and confirm your address before we give you your sacks.
Thank you to everyone who took part in our consultation on household waste and recycling collection services in Erskine. We’re investing in service improvements in 2015 to replace your sacks with robust waste containers and improve your collection service. We’ll provide more information on this soon.
My bin collection day
Check your bin collection days by entering your address or postcode into our online mapping service:
Refuse collection takes place throughout the year except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Services are as normal on all other public holidays.
If your bin hasn't been collected on your collection date, there are a number of other possible reasons:
- We've missed your bin.
- Your bin wasn't at the collection point by 7am.
- Your bin had unsuitable items in it.
If we did not uplift your bin because you have incorrect items in it, please remove these items and present on your next collection day for that colour of bin. If we have missed you bin in error, please let us know.
You can fill out this online form or call us on 0300 300 0300:
Please remember that collections take place between 7am and right up to 6.30pm.
