Unfortunately we cannot collect textiles and shoes at the moment.
Textiles and shoes
The Council provides a free on-demand service for collecting textiles for recycling.
To use this service, you just need to book a collection then place your textiles in a bag and leave them in the agreed location.

*All clothing should be dry and wearable
Your items will be collected by our contractor, Nathans Waste Savers. Their staff will have ID cards to identify themselves as being a contractor of Renfrewshire Council.
When you call for a collection (Monday to Friday), a staff member will contact you within 24 hours to arrange a suitable collection, normally within a few working days.
Please make sure that all items are dry, shoes are tied into pairs and that a knot is tied into the top of the bag to keep the textiles dry.
You can also recycle textiles at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
