Last year our Advice Works team:
- dealt with 11,799 questions from people living in Renfrewshire
- represented people at 593 tribunals
- raised an extra £1.1m for local people through appeal tribunals
- helped local people receive £3.2m through new claims for benefits
- helped people in Renfrewshire manage debts totalling £11.4m
- in addition money advisors generated £86,715 in new claims and worked with lenders to write off £54,279
- raised an extra £551,149 for people receiving home care.
- helped people in Renfrewshire manage debts totalling £666,856, and
- helped local people receive £20,506 through new claims for benefits and worked with lenders to write off £3,836.
- helped people in Renfrewshire manage debts totalling £1.1m, and
- helped local people receive £152,019 through new claims for benefits and working with lenders to write off £19,338.
- helped people in Renfrewshire manage debts totalling £294,509, and
- helped local people receive £413,652 through new claims for benefits and appeals against decisions on benefits.
