You should expect the following standards of service from our staff providing support to your family:
We will:
- make sure that every child protection concern raised will be investigated within the same day.
- respond to domestic violence concerns immediately we receive them from the police.
- work with you to support you and your family to remain together.
- provide parenting assessments, if you have been assessed as needing this service.
- provide reports to the Scottish Children's Reporter's Administration within the agreed timescales.
- work with children and young people to help them understand the effect of crime in the community.
- make sure that you and your family's rights are respected at all times and that your welfare is our priority.
- make sure that you have received all the relevant information about the service you are receiving and have fully understood the information given to you.
- investigate all complaints within agreed timescales and put things right when they go wrong.
Staff will:
- show you their identity cards
- not smoke in your home.
- be trained and supported to ensure they carry out their jobs professionally and will have procedures and policies for all the services they provide.
- be polite and helpful at all times.
- treat you with respect and keep all information confidential.
