Montrose Day Centre - Paisley
Home > Services > Social care and health > Services for older people
A typical day in the centre offers varied activities which promote social interaction and aim to meet individual, personal and physical care needs.
We offer support with personal care, for example, hairdressing, chiropody, bathing and shaving. We encourage clients to enjoy company and take advantage of the many activities/social events which we provide. These include:
- outings;
- monthly themed celebrations (such as Burns' Day or St Valentine's Day,);
- group activities (quiz games, music);
- arts and crafts sessions;
- gardening club;
- library service; and
- support and advice to carers.
Montrose Day Centre is a purpose built single storey building. It is light and airy and has a main dining area and lounge, two sitting areas, a relaxation room, hairdressing salon, kitchen and garden.
It is suitable for people who use wheelchairs and has handrails throughout for those with poor mobility.
