People who are registered blind are entitled to a disabled person's car badge under the Blue Badge Scheme, which allows parking in restricted areas so long as the badge holder is travelling in the car. People who are registered partially sighted do not qualify on the grounds of visual impairment but may be eligible as a result of health problems or a physical disability.
Residents in Renfrewshire who want to apply for a Blue Badge or renew their existing Blue Badge should contact the Customer Contact Centre on 0141 842 4455. If you are applying for a Blue Badge for the first time, you can complete the online form below. If you are registrered blind and do not have a Blue Badge, you can also apply through the council's Visual Impairment Team.
