There are many people in the same position and help is available.There are local organisations that you can talk to free of charge and in confidence. They will not judge you and they can help you to:

• make sure you are receiving all the income you're entitled to
• draw up a budget plan
• put together a list of all your debts and help you to tell the difference between priority and non priority debts
• negotiate with creditors on your behalf
