Are you claiming the full range of benefits, pensions and/or tax credits available?
People who fail to claim may not know all the benefits they're entitled to, may be confused about their eligibility, or simply do not know where to access advice and information.
Even if you are already in receipt of a benefit, or think you may be entitled to make a claim, it’s worth checking out exactly what you're entitled to.
For information and a guide to benefits the Directgov website is also useful.
There are local organisations you can speak to directly who provide free, independent advice on your benefit entitlement. Find out more by downloading the directory below:
You may also find useful information in the Advice Guide on Benefits provided by the Citizen's Advice Bureau.
