The plan builds upon previous commitments to improve service delivery in partnership with users and carers, other council services, statutory agencies and the independent sector, arising from our rolling programme for service planning.

The service plan outlines what social work intends to achieve over the next three years based on resources likely to be available. The plan identifies the principle factors that will influence service needs, their development and delivery. It outlines progress achieved last year and sets out the main service objectives to be pursued over the next three years.
