Johnstone Day Centre
Home > Services > Social care and health > Services for older people
A typical day in the centre offers varied activities which promote social interaction and aim to meet individual, personal and physical care needs. We offer support with personal care, for example, hairdressing, chiropody, bathing and shaving.
We encourage clients to enjoy company and take advantage of the many activities/social events which we provide. These include:
- outings;
- group activities (quiz games, music, craft work);
- reality orientation;
- library service; and
- support and advice to carers.
Johnstone Day Centre is purpose built and is situated entirely on the ground floor. It is light and airy and has a main dining area, 2 sitting areas, kitchen and gardens.
