Information sharing between health and social work partner organisations
Community care services are currently being improved by joint working between health and social work partner organisations. A considerable amount of work has been done to create a framework for this sharing of information. This means that information gathered by either social work or health organisations will be shared with each other.
1. Common form for obtaining client consent for information sharing
No information about you will be shared with other organisations unless you sign a client consent form
2. Agreements for information sharing
An agreement, called a General Protocol Summary, has been signed by Renfrewshire's health and social care partner agencies. The document published here summarises the purpose and scope of the agreements.
Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view these documents. This is available as a free download from the Adobe website.
If your require any more information on joint working or information sharing contact your local Social Work area team, whose details are on the right hand menu.
