Free concessionary travel in Strathclyde - Who can apply?

Everyone who applies for an entitlement card, whether they are applying on the basis of age or disability, must live in Scotland. You will have to provide evidence of this.
To qualify for an entitlement card you must be:
- 60 years or over
- blind or partially sighted. Any registered blind or partially sighted person who is over the age of 5 years can apply.
- aged between 5 and 15 and in receipt of Disability Living Allowance
- physically disabled. Anyone aged 16 or over whose walking ability is seriously and permanently impaired, or who suffers from a permanent disability which leaves them without the effective use of both arms for gripping/holding whether by absence of those arms or otherwise.
- suffering from serious learning difficulties. Any person aged 16 or over who suffers from a serious learning difficulty and who is eligible to attend an adult training centre or special needs course at a college of further education in the area of the scheme.
- mentally ill - any person aged 16 or over who is mentally ill and is an in-patient in a Health Board, hospital or who regularly attends a recognised Health Board hospital out-patient clinic for treatment, who has received psychiatric treatment at a Health Board hospital or out-patient clinic in the past and continues to require long term psychiatric treatment in the community.
- profoundly deaf and/or without speech
