People who would be eligible for the service are those who have experienced an acquired brain injury. Some examples of how this could happen are:
- a road traffic accident;
- an assault;
- a fall; and
- an infection.
- the social work department;
- GPs;
- health professionals;
- the person with the acquired brain injury;
- carers/family; and
- disability employment advisors.
- enabling people to maximise their potential;
- helping people cope with the activities of daily living;
- directing people to appropriate services;
- helping with vocational and employment opportunities;
- advice and support;
- drop in service;
- supporting self advocacy/advocacy; and
- practical and emotional support following hospital discharge.
