If you answer 'yes' to any of these questions, the Targeted Advice Project (TAP) may be able to help you. Our service is free and confidential. TAP is a project that aims to maximise the income of people living in Renfrewshire by providing both preventative and practical advice and support on money advice and welfare rights issues.

TAP run regular surgeries throughout Renfrewshire in accessible locations.

Benefits services:
We can:

• identify if you are claiming all the benefits you are entitled to;
• give advice on how taking up work will affect your benefits;
• help you fill out claim forms;
• appeal against benefit decisions you do not agree with; and
• help you take your case to a tribunal and provide representation.

Debt management services:
We can:

• provide debt counselling;
• negotiate with your creditors on your behalf for reduced payments while you are suffering financial difficulties; and
• help with bankruptcy or trust deeds.
